Right on man. I'll be there rooting for you in spirit, haha. Yeah, over winter once I get a BR 2.0, i'm going to swap out the stockers for some kiggly's

Badevo your car is sick! and Evosick your car is also. Evosick do you have coilovers or are you on the stockers? Did you change your rim/tire setup? I remember checking your car out at the Dsm shootout last year and it is super clean.

disagree. the 14cm cross section area is less than a .70. In a true TS setup will seriously outspool the BEP single scroll .70.

Even a chamfered divider on a single scroll manifold its not going to be that much laggier.

If you physically compare the 14cm^2 to the ar.70 the 14cm is MUCH bigger
Now I am using an ar .68 t4 turbine housing with my hx40
spool is great

yes. You are forgetting that you are comparing twinscroll turbine housings vs single scroll ones on physical dimensions. You have to understand the divider wall takes up alot of cross section area, not to mention the casting on a holset turbine housing is damn thick. 14cm for an HX40 is actually quite small when talking about twin scroll. Check out the holset thread on here, and you will see we are using a .84 TS garret housing on an HX40 and it is roughly in the neighborhood of around 16CM twinscroll physical size. the .70AR TS garret housing is around the 13-14CM TS holset size btw.

btw what sort of logs you got for spool on the .68? interested myself.

first of all let me be clear
The original setup was tomei 260 cam with hx40/ar 70 which was machined by a local machine shop. In 1st 4000 rpm 0 psi ,,,,5000rpm 3psi and by 5800 rpm 20 psi.
I did not like that so i purchase a set of 274/278 hks cams here and change the housing to 68 machine by the same person. The car was not re-tuned therefore i cannot carry it up in the rpm BUT I fell boost in 1st by 3500rpm.
It could be the fact the my exhaust cams moves from 10.2 to 11 lift or the size of the back housing.

seems kinda normal to me. I could never get to more than 18-20 psi on my bw s259 in 1st gear anyways. As much power as my BW was making i really didn't want anymore. Honestly you are in 1st gear for maybe a second or two IMO its not that big of a deal. My old build, bw setup i just spin it to 9k (on a built engine) in 1st and 2nd gear. It solves everything.
