Looking forward to seeing this thing run at the shootout. Here's to running that elusive 8 second pass!

Looks like you're getting used to that power pretty easily. I see you went to the small brakes. How are you liking them on the street? Did you get the rear kit as well?

The brakes are great. At 150 mph I was able to turn off at the second of three turn off points at my local track which I believe is only a 1/4 / 1/4 track.

The pads are a little noisey but seem to grab very hard.

Yes I bought the rears too so they matched.

With the rotational mass lost from the brake kits, do you think you have enough power to get the car into the 8s? I'm back and forth in between two turbos and I can't make up my mind.

Yes I think it does. In fact it might have enough to do it on the QTPs.

My new rim and tire combo weighs 29 lbs. I think the car will make over 700 whp in 3rd on buschurs dyno now.

I still am on the oem driveshaft. I wish I could find someone to sponsor me with one lol. Im getting married august 27th so money is tight. I have a list of a few other things that can save weight. I could always pull my rear and passenger seats to cut another 65lbs if needed. But id rather do it as a street car.

Damn, I didn't know the passenger seat and rear set weighed that much together. I might give that one a try when I put my car back together. What would you guess your vehicle weighs now?

About 2750 w/o me in it if I had to guess. I'm about 190 now.

The car will be there. I was pissed I couldn't race at the event back in May.

We plan to be at Buschur Friday morning and will be in Norwalk all weekand.

I can't wait for the Shootout!
