They don't, at least the seats in my IX don't weigh that much. I've weighed my passenger seat at 32lbs and my rears seats at 9-10lbs.

On topic, congrats on the great times Chris. Looking forward to seeing your car break 8's this year. Also congrats on the upcoming wedding. I feel you on getting married making the car money a bit tight, I just tied the knot myself in February. I wish you all the best.

I think you should weigh them again. The driver and passenger seat weigh the same amount +/- like half a pound. I weighed them at 38 lbs each. The rear (lower) is like 9-10 and the rear (back) is like 14 ish. I have the exaxt weights written down somewhere.

Either or thank you very much. Yes money is very tight. I've been trying to put some aside for the Shootout w/o much luck lol.

Hmm. I'll try a different scale to double check my weights. Perhaps it could have been off. I'll let you know what I come up with.

Good luck on making the shoot out.

Damn! 7200 rpm. No wonder you getting good 60'. I need to up mine. The best 60' I could get is 1.6 with the 2 step at 5800-5900, on 93 oct map. I am also on QTP's. So I am going to set mine to 6200 or so.

Good choice... I already know the weights for the NRG seats & lowering brackets vs. stock seats...Depending on if you put sliders back in or not, that should drop around 45 lbs out of the car...BTW, I used to post under the name 06MREvo, remember you contacted me about pics of the NRG seats, I still need to get you some better pics!
