20th Annual DSM/EVO Shootout
My family and friends came to Ohio not knowing what to expect. This was the most fun Mitsu event I've ever been a part of. Locally here in the tri-state area we have Evo vs Sti day, but this was something special. To be in a park full of guys/gals that share love for the same platform all at once is something else.
David and his staff were fantastic. All of the sponsors were so friendly. And the race teams were very supportive of each other.
We look forward to next year, thinking about just camping out in the park and making the experience even better!!

I believe I spoke to you guys near the staging lanes... I had the grey IX with green rx7 wheels and the IVEYTUNE sticker in the back window.. I had my previous exedy triple in my car for 3 years and just rebuilt the triple a couple weeks back and never had a problem with the clip popping.. Maybe you can call Ivey and speak to him for some help.. It was a great event as always and can't wait for next year..
Ya, we're hoping to get this fixed, we never had this issue the past year. Nice runs at the track! That last pass kind of sucked when you stalled, we were rooting for ya. I liked the helmet too
.
Thanks everyone for all the good feedback. I don't think I've heard one negative comment yet, that's saying a lot for a three day event and the amount of people that were here.
Full results come after I get them all from the racetrack, we typically have our meeting this week.
As a heads up though...........because of some very-very stupid people, the rules for the track will change next year and this is PER MY DECISION. I try to keep this event easy on everyone concerning the safety rules and simply requested long sleeve shirts, shoes, jeans and most importantly a HELMET! Well I saw some dumb asses running way too fast without even putting a helmet on. So guys, be prepared, safety rules are not only going to be enforced without exception next year, they will be more of them. Always has to be a few dumb asses to ruin it for everyone.

I saw a few of those said people running way to fast without a helmet. I even asked people around me if that's allowed.
Always some asshat who thinks he's super human that ruins the simplest relaxed rule set per the size of the event.

We noticed it too from the stands. Sucks that something so trivial as a helmet becomes the impetus for major changes but you know what, it's for everyone's own good and safety so eff it. Hell of an event, Buschur!
Yup, i remember one certain evo that was running 9's and the driver had no helmet. I wont be the rat though, but seriously??? I was running mid 11s and had jeans and a helmet at least.
