On my old AMS 2.0 it would fill my catch can with mostly ethanol in 5 wot pulls. It was several years old when I switched to e85 so maybe it was loosened up lol. On the Magnus shortblock Im not noticing anything in the catch can, not even heavy steam when it was under wot on the dyno.

At idle I have always seen a super slight smoke come from the can filter. On the dyno it would smoke a small amount too. Typically I would empty it and it would be 90% condensation. I am having bigger cans made after Ohio so I have a little more room.

Today I am going to take my car out and give this NLTS stuff a try. I asked my buddy to record me because I want to post up a vid and maybe get some pointers from anyone here with experience. Its my first time so go easy on me. I should have a vid up shortly after I take the car out.

When we've tuned car on the NLTS , ive always recommend for them to practice in higher gears so they have room to see what they are doing. THe first gears are so freaking fast on high HP evos that if u dont shift properly u can damage the gear quickly.

i think the mistake some people do is to learn from 1-2 first , this add less time for u to see whats going on ..... as the car will rev so quickly

ive tried 3-4 th gear to start out and get the hang of it and then do all the gears after i have fully undestood how it works out.

Good Luck man and i want to see ur car do 9's soon you have worked so hard on your car and we look forward to see this soon .

Thanks man. It means a lot coming from other shops and not just EVO owners. I must say everyone has def been good and supportive and I can't thank everyone enough.

I am going to lower the boost down from 40 to 30ish and do a 3rd to 4th gear at about 7000rpm. If I nail it I will then do 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th. If it gos well then I'm gonna up the boost and repeat but shift at 8k rpm. If that gos well then I might try a 1st to 2nd shift. Then as long as I don't brake the car its being parked and all the fluids will be changed and it won't move until its at the shootout. I so freaking want this.

Dont forget to concentrate on not taking your foot off, It feels so weird keeping your foot to the floor lol. The 1-2 shift from a launch is difficult, I'm rarely WOT in 1st from a launch because it spins so much, I ended up wrecking my 2nd gear from missing the first couple shifts the first time I took it out to the track

exactly what keeps happening to me. i have destroyed at least 4 2nd gear syncro's from missing 2nd. im tired of pulling the trans out for this BS.

last year at the 19th shootout i lost 4th gear syncro but was able to finish the day.

i am trying different types of fluid to see if it was part of the AMSOIL fluid. maybe it is not helping me shift? i dont know but i cant be that freaking bad. haha

here is my new trailer i bought. i washed it today and figured i would bring it to the store with me so i can take some pics. i used to borrow my friends trailers and **** and i figured i needed my own. so i bought one and speced it out how i wanted it. i just picked it up the other day and ordered it to have for the shootout. i cant wait to use it. im such a child HAHA.

2012 18 foot sure track car trailer. 7K payload. LED lighting, radial tires with spare ''which they need to give me a radial upgrade for'' and removable fenders. i also got a master lock kit, brake controller and some other goodies.

I had my trans rebuilt this winter, 1st time out, boom dicked it haha. I "think" we put OEM fluid in this time around, not 100% though, i'll be trying Redline again and seeing if that helps any once I get my gear set back

I'd like to shot peen everything that has to do with 2nd and 4th gear, those 2 were the ones that went bad in my trans recently, 4th was still useable, but 2nd wouldn't go in
