ER/ETS New Drag EVO 9.0@164 Precision 6466

This is a new car ETS picked up a few months ago and is letting us play with it. At this point our main hurdle is getting the suspension setup right. After we got back from the Spokane IFO race we drained the fluid on the T-case and there were teeth in it This was do to the bouncing.

We made it back out to the track last weekend to try and better our time. We put a new case in the car. So I was trying to take baby steps into the launch. Wasted 3 passes of bogging. Then on my 4th pass I got the 2step back up and she bounced worse then ever. So we then adj stuff the complete other way from the direction we were going and the next pass was no bouncing but only 1.6 60ft. I feel this car has a high 8sec pass in it once we get things figured out on the 6466 turbo.

Its only on the 10.5:1 E85 Wisceo HD pistons. I am on a learning curve. So far a very nice one so we did not want to be to radical to start with. All I can say is I wish I would have made the full Methanol jump many years ago.

We have some locals here digesting serious amounts of the stuff lol. Did you stay with an electronic pump? I'd be curious to see the benefit of the CAC at 40psi or even an egt comparo but thats a bit much to ask for I know Car looks great so far, I'm sure with some seat time you guys will exceed your goals.. Good luck with it.

Sorry guys been to long since I made a drag racing post. Added the stuff into the mods list.

Has a Automotive mech pump off the cam gear.
2280 is weight with out driver

We were going to put the car on E85 but with it being pretty setup on Methanol and running short on time we chose to keep it. Thats why the intercooler went on there.

Right now I have it tuned at a .64 lambda and that is getting me around a1260deg EGT in the top of 4th. My 1st pass out on low boost I was a .71 Lambda which I am glad did not hurt the motor. Egts were in the low 1300s on that pass.

Yes I think its the Old Douglas car.

It was good seeing you get some passes in this car. The launches looked like they were pretty rough on you and the car.

Just a question, but eventually I'd like to do a 9 sec pass.

What would it cost to buy a car in decent shape and do this work to for it to be capable of 8/9s?
Just post a round about money figure if you could.

Thanks and great pass ER/ETs

Great post guys. The car is in excellent hands over at English Racing We have been so busy manufacturing parts that we haven't had a chance to really get out and race this year. The guys over at English Racing have it figured out when it comes to work and racing.

This car has a fair amount left in it on the current setup. Who knows what the future holds after this turbo has seen it's full potential. We have been building a lot of big setups lately, I would love to see one on this car once it's dialed in on the 6466.

Keep up the good work guys!

Michael
