Safety gear, what does everyone like?
I figured its finally time to get my safety equipment up to date. I think I've narrowed it down to Simpson posi grip gloves and a g-force 545 2 piece suit. I don't race often but I want a balance of comfort, cost and protection.
I'm seeing opinions all over the place so I thought I'd ask within my own community, what does everyone like and how often are you racing in it?

glad you brought it up. sometime between now and Spring, I'm going to improve my safety gear from just having a helmet. I did get one with the new Snell cert, which is good since it should be good for a while.
But like you, I'm getting pants, jacket or suit, and probably gloves and shoes. I have nomex gloves from work, but they aren't very good.

I personally use all Simpson gear, Definitely get the two piece, as it makes life a hell of a lot easier during those hot summer months.
neck restraint is either RCI or simpson, I will have to go home and check
Seat belts, are RCI..
For the car, I went through Stroud for the Window Net, Parachute and traction Bar Net. They are a great company to deal with it, with very high quality components
Fire supression system is from Safecraft ( 10 pound bottle)
