there's something very wrong with the tune. what injectors and fuel pump? That car is only making about 300whp which it should be making more than that with those mods and pump gas.

as for no lift shifting.... it can help if you know what to do and do it fast enough. I ran the time in my sig lifting every shift. and my car made 384whp and 412 ft/lb at 30psi

i don't think 113 is that bad considering its a 9.8 housing.. people pick up another what 30-40hp switching to the 10.5 hotside, thats another 2-3mph right there.

i know you never said that. i'm saying that. 112mph car is only making about 300whp. my Evo 8 went 112 with an intake, boost controller,(24psi) and a flash.

What i'm getting at is that the car isn't running the times it should is partly because the tune is out to lunch. Yes, your shifting can be a bit better, but you are not entirely to blame for the time. you did pretty good on the launch, but after that the car fell on its face. if you want a 10.5 hot side for that turbo let me know i have one. it will help you a lot!

you have to remember that the tune makes or breaks these cars. take it to a shop that really knows Evo's and it will come back a different car.

oh ok i got it.i can tell you short story about who tune my car.on reg fuel AMS,then Adam from Devo and on E 85 Yusuf from Flying evo.im lost right now cause all of them told me it's all good.really don't know where else to go.you might be right about bad tune but im not an expert and believed in what they been telling me.or maybe my crappy shifting hurts trap speed.
thanks for offer bout evo 9 hot side but i have to pass.i want to do my best on stock turbo as much as i can.give me 600whp evo if i can't shift it won't help.thanks man.

that 10.5 hot side is just gonna let it breath better and you're not gonna be beating the **** out of the turbo quite as bad. it still counts as a stock turbo... the 05 VIII had it.

That's pretty early to be shifting in my opinion. Try shifting around 7K. I think that would help a lot.

Do you have a dyno graph? Obviously you want to be keep the car in the strongest part of the powerband. On a stock turbo that should be between 5K and 7K but if you're shifting at 5800 I think you're missing the best part of the powerband.

Shifting at 5800 rpm I'd say is your problem. Your losing time and mph rite there. What is your rev limit set too? I'd def be shifting the car at 7500 rpm atleast

Your cams are still making power past 5800 rpm. They are making power till probably around 7-8k they will fall off. I see this def hurting your time

you should be shifting out of first at 7000 and every other gear 7200 - 7300. then run 4th out to whatever it's rev to go through the traps. this should help A LOT. you're shifting before it's even making max power. that's part of the reason your times and MPH is off so much.

I HIGHLY suggest a 10.5 hot side though even if it's not mine and a retune. that car should make 350-375whp on e-85 with the mads that are already done and a better tune and hot side. you'll be in the 117-118mph range.

when they tune it have the rev limiter raised to like 8000 - 8100. so if you need RPM at the end it's there. those cams are gonna make power to 8000 anyway if you can get the flow out of the motor.

wow I agree with everyone, definitely costing you a LOT by shifting that early.
