Just because it has 16v and 2.0L doesn't mean its the same engine.

You should be able to hit a very high 15 ( like 15.9 ) or low 16

Correct me if I'm wrong anybody, please.

You can get a Oz rally to run 15's not hard at all, all it takes is money. Not to much, soon as the turbo comes out for mine I will have also the throttle body/cam/header/etc. Can't wait..

Boni, you dynoed it yet? Your probably around 190 hp right? what boost level do you run at, if you're at 7 or 8 you're probably around 190-200, I would think with the stock weight you get a 14.9 ish. just a guess but it doesn't seem unreasonable. considering evo is 600 lbs heavier, more drivetrain loss and only holds 85 more horses and runs in the lower 13's stock.

Believe me, I plan on putting at least 10k into the car over the next year. Sure it will be a slow build, but anxious, very anxious.

I have no doubt of the Lancer runnin in the low 15'ns or mid 14'ns, however I would imagine that it would take a few grand to get there though, like 4 maybe 5.

My Lancer stock is running 16.5's, very nice for stock, the average 1/4 mile time is 16.9 I think. I saw that on a web site.

no thats impossible unless your an expert shifter....even then i highly doubt you have 16.5 1/4 mile times.. hell with my turbo on and even tho i did have horrible fuel problems i still only ran 16.1. thats with 40 extra hp to the wheels. sorry...hard to believe you got a 16.5 stock. maybe on the 1/8 mile lol.

They may have 16v 2.0 but they are newer and newer is better. Oz Rally's are really made for rally racing not 1/4 mile speeds. I know a few people who use to have a neon and they broke down everywhere. If it is the same engine then the lancers would be broken down a lot to. but they differ. Lancer's are banggin and can be supped up. I have seen it done. Lancers in other countries are used as taxi cabs cause f the mileage you can put on one and the pressure it can take from driving and stopping all day. GREAT CAR!!! :-)

You alrady got turbo on your oz? Dang I thought it has not come out yet. I know there are still a lot of stuff that has not come out since the lancers are fairly new. You know any Lancer Performance web pages?

I must agree with mcbrown32, you are only running a 16.1 with a turbo , only 40 extra hp what type of turbo are you runnin. , call me ignant, but that doesn't sound right... Is it?

Like Zlancer said, he had fuel problems which would cause a bad 1/4 mile time. I'm sure once his turbo is dialed in and fuel is managed properly it will run good.

Pimpson, I agree with you. I'm guessing like a 14.5-14.9. I need to learn how to get a good start though cuz most of the time I just spin my tires...hard to get traction. My goal is to break 13's with my lancer which will not be hard at all. I got a bored t.b. now and a few other suprises which will help out. I really wanna get it dyno'd to see what im pushing but yah around 190-200 hp im guessing.

My next upgrade will be a ported head from Road/Race, pistons/rods, S-AFC, and injectors. Boost will probably be turned up to 7 or 8 then. Maybe more but I want to keep it safe. Road/Race will be coming out with engine internals soon..i cant wait!!!

I have run a 17.106 with just my injen intake. I probably could have gotten a 17.0 with perfect shifting. Stock a ran a 17.320. Hopefully with a new exhaust, header, down pipe, short shifter, and pulleys. I can be at 16.4 . I'm waiting for good aftermarket products like greddy and aem. Not all that cheap **** like rmr and road race!
