Thanks ! Yup, next time I run the car it will be on Hoosier QTP's and a little more weight reduction and see how far into the 10s I can get it to go.. Hopefully faster than the 10.89

 

Good luck! Any idea on current "race weight"?

 

With some calculations it should be right around 3000lbs +- 10lbs, with me in it a little less than 3200lbs.. Haven't gotten a chance to get in on a scale yet

Yea she's not light by any means, I do have have the buschur mustache bar and billett diff mounts, a bunch of other stuff removed, still have the rear beam in it too lol.. I'll shoot ya a pm buddy

Went back out last Friday night to our local track for RSD. Clocks were off due to the no ET/RSD event which street racing like races on the track. I ran mostly Test and Tune since no one wanted to race me lol. I added a used AGP intercooler I got for $100 bucks and had Devin @ Boostin Re-tune the car on E85. Car made 360WHP on his Mustang Dyno.

Went to the track, first pass the car went 11.68@117mph. Then made another 11.62@117mph pass. Lowered the 2-Step and tire pressure then ended up going 11.59@116mph. Car is still at full weight with seats and full interior in the car and everything. Also still on my Hancook 17" street tires. I want to add a upper pipe/Tial BOV/and some cams, re-tune the car and go 10s. Might be tricky but worth giving it a shot Time slip is below and video of the 11.5 pass will be uploaded today.

haha the evo 9 4th gear is terrible for the quartermile

 

Lol I know its not good, we raised the Rev limiter so I don't have to shift to 5th. But I am really close that I might have too. I would like down the road to get the trans refreshed and maybe do the Evo 8 3rd and 4th gear.

 

Here's my video of the 11.59 pass. Like stated above, clocks are off due to the RSD/No ET event they had going on. I plan to add a Upper pipe, Tial BOV, Kelford/GSC 272 cams and have Devin @ Boostin retune the car and would like to go 10s. It might be hard to do that on old street tires but might as well have some fun and give it a try
