Im am just curious as to why you feel this is the case? I dont know the 1st thing about drag racing, do not drag race my car but I am solely just curious. I just assumed that it would be an equal relationship between the difference in 60ft time and 1/4 mile time.

For example: 12.5 @115 with a 2.0 60' would be a 12.0@115 with a 1.5'

Like I said I am not a drag racer so I have no idea; that was merely my assumption.

I picked that up from the mustang forums I was on. The 60 ft time can make or break the pass. The quicker you get out of the hole (with traction) the more speed you can pick up in the 1/4. Im pretty sure that the saying isn't rock solid, but almost a rule of thumb.

In my car (i've made over 120 passes so I do have first hand experience..) every tenth off my 60' is usually 2-3 tenths off my ET. So you are right.

Great job for your first time out man! On the tire pressures, I would lower them from 30PSI to around 23PSI or start at 25PSI then adjust from there. Each track day and conditions are different so it all depends, but thats where I would start.

^ I agree. I'd have 1 or 2 psi more psi in front.

Great trap speed for no cams. Cams will get you at 116MPH with proper tuning and fuel.

They are good cams but the GSC series have gotten a lot better. Are these newer 272's or OG 272's?

I'm not sure. I picked them up from a forum member. Is there a way I can tell physically on the cams?

the previous owner ran e85, so the fuel pump is not stock. However...i have no clue what brand it is, or the flow rate. Neither did he (i dont think he did any of the modifications.) However, when i had it tuned a few weeks ago, the pump was at 61% if i remember correctly.
