Unhappy NA Oz Lancer Drag times

I am a little disappointed with my times. It was a cool night here in Orlando. (really cool) My last run of the night was the quickest and I tree'd this civic si but the bastard drove around me right before the finish. here is the timeslip which like I said happens to be my best run of the night.

-------Civic si -----------------OZ lancer (me)
R/t ----1.416-------------------.586
60'-----2.349-------------------2.378
330----6.561-------------------6.912
1/8-----10.017-----------------10.583
MPH----70.81-------------------66.76
1000---13.006------------------13.747
1/4------15.507-----------------16.403
MPN-----90.10-------------------84.64

oh I lost by .0662 to the civic. Yes this is one of the new ones with intake.

I don't know what to do with myself. I have the best of everything except exhaust and I really thought I would have been closer to 16secs. I doubt if a catback will shave 400's of a sec off. I bettered my best time which was previously 16.804 with no eibachs, no CAI and no RRM PB. I am still disappointed though.

the only good thing so come from tonight is that a guy rolled up in his 350 acting all bad and one of 2 guys from EVOM with Evos handed that guy his ***. It was funny I think he left right after that disgrace.

I forgot to say the car was complete interior. All seats, spare tires etc. Just like you got it from the show room.

how do you figure .0662? i think you meant .662, but that would still give him only 16.169

NO I mean .0662

I left him at the light (tree) nearly a second ahead.
he passed me right at the finish line and I mean right at the line.

I forgot to say it was a nice surprise to see another OZ there. he ran a best 17.1 (first time to track) and what was crazy about that was that he had a 2.7 60' and had speakers in the trunk.

He had an injen Short ram and some exhaust work and he said that was all. I gave him the EVO M website to get some more parts.

Peace

I need to change my signature now. hehe

The yellow OZ also had a 2 inch drop with camber kit. How could I forget that. They were blue springs but he could not remember the name. They were not progress springs which are a greener color

Thanks

I'll have to wait until summer when I finally get to put a cat back exhaust together. No money for that until I am all moved.

I'm sure that Si had a intake and an exhaust. Or even if he is stock, they're usually good for the high end when the VTEC kicks in.

I'm sure you'll do better next time.

I tried but I guess I'll have to wait until it's 40 degrees again.
