Went to the speedway again since my girl left for DC for thanksgiving and I had nothing else to do. I met a guy there with a Neon that had an SRT-4 oem cat back exhaust on and we ran three times.

I ran 2 times faster than his but he redlighted (??) the last two runs after winning the first run. I got better with each run going from a horrid 17.235@83.28mph---16.461@83.77. I finally got another ET mph into the 84 range with the second run a 16.551@84.15mph.

Here is the best slip of the night.
R/T-----------------.726
60'-----------------2.417
330----------------6.916
1/8----------------10.596
MPH---------------66.99
1000--------------13.785
1/4----------------16.461
MPH---------------83.77

I am going to try to catch the Neon guy again. It's much more fun racing when the cars are close. He ran a 16.857,16.904 and a 16.671. He kept jumping out ahead but I would run him down at the end. With better launches I would have killed him.

I'm going to install my fuel rail and see what I can get next time. I'm pretty pleased with the runs tonight but I couldn't stick my 60's like usual.

Peace

versus that si you were pretty close from start to 1/8mile. the torque in our lancers is good but we really need so top end hp. if we could find a way to get more top end we would have a lot better 1/4 mile times.

I beat the SI from the tree. He left nearly a second later than I did. I get the impression that he was either not drag experienced or he was waiting to "show off" I'll have to reread the thread exactly but I think I tried to shift to 4th at the end and that split second decision cost me the win.

With some new modifications in the works that will never happen again.

Wow can't believe it has been nearly a year already.

I have a few things still getting ready to do. Hopefully refund time will be the latest to get them done.

I'm going to get a bunch of things done at the same time.
