Here's a few recent pics of the Junk Box. Most of these were taken from the DSM/EVO/GTR Shootout last weekend. All these pics are great shots, and I thank the people who took them. I'm going to start off with my favorite pic

How would you compare the 6766 vs the 6466 in spool and tq and even power.

Both are amazing turbos. Depending on certain setups it varies, but I can say I am very happy with the 6466.

Here's my 8.85 @ 163mph pass from that night. I made this pass, then the next pass was my 8.77 run. Stay tuned, I have a change coming to the Junk Box and I plan to be back out to the track in a couple weeks

Since the junk box is full drag now, any thoughts on having a fully enclosed front bumper? I've seen a few Evos out there with something like this and an inlet for the turbo.

I haven't had any thoughts for that to be honest. I know there are a few EVO's out there that have a fully enclosed front bumper with the inlet for the turbo but for me for right now that has not crossed my mind.

Stay tuned for more results, I'll be back out to the track here pretty shortly

If he was using a air/water intercooler it would be something to consider..Since its air/air that would just choke the car and heatsoak it.

Looking forward to the new changes Joey! Your driving and the Junker never disappoint!

Exactly man and I doubt I would go to air/water intercooler in my car. Maybe something for in the future.

Thanks Jason! Can't wait till we get our cars back to the track man

Hey Joey,

Great driving and congrats on the times! I noticed your sig stating the fastest Evo 9 in the US. I'm may be a bit out of the loop, but who's the fastest worldwide? You've gotta be close, no?

Thanks Bud! I believe the fastest/quickest EVO record in the USA is still held by AMS Performance with an 8.42. That is on a 2.1 though I believe, but that is the record for the overall fastest/quickest EVO in the States.

Now for the 4G63 2.0 record, I believe is held by Dog Box Racing EVO with an 8.51. I am very close, even with the small T3 6466. I plan on making a couple changes and getting back out to the track ASAP. Hopefully get to set some more new PBs soon!

At that level, is two tenths of a second really that close?

With everything thing else being equal/constant, wouldn't you need a other 200hp or 200lb weight reduction to pick up that time?
