Do you have an dyno graph overlay comparing the 3794 and super 99? Just curious to see the spool and power differences.

That is the 3794 vs super 94. I believe he was asking for the 3794 vs super 99 turbo.

Gahhhh oops sorry, yes you are quite right - sorry chap, ignore me.

There hasn't even been an update on the power it is making with the Super99, let alone a curve or overlay - though I'm picking its 1000whp capable, and will be quite a bit laggier I'm guessing.

This is not so much a case of a "medium size turbo hitting like a BIG turbo" anymore - it is a 72mm turbo, after all - it's wheel sizes are basically getting into territory which fits it somewhere between an HKS T51R Kai and T51R SPL... it just happens to be T3 flanged haha.

Yeah I figured not much was mentioned but I'm sure its 1000-1100hp to run that at what weight I figured his car is at. I was hoping he'd chime in with a graph now the KOTS is over.

Thanks for the support everyone. We are changing a few things on the Red Demon right now for one last push before the end of the season, and things are coming along really well.

I do have dyno numbers on both turbo's, but the 3794 was dynoed on the drag radials I used for the 1/2 Mile event, and the Super 99 was tested on my slicks. My car spins really bad when I run slicks on the dyno, so the pulls are not comparable.

The Super 94 is right behind the 3794 when it comes to spool, maybe 100-200 rpm later. The Super 99 spools approximately 400 RPM later then the Super 94. If you're running the car on the street, go Super 94. With a drag car you will never even notice the extra lag the Super 99 has.

I've made just under 1000 WHP on our factory calibrated Mustang Dyno, that's at around 46-48 psi. I've never ran the car on "Kill Mode" on the dyno with the FP Super series turbo's. I use the dyno as a tool to get the car close and run the car hard at the track - not on the dyno. High dyno numbers do nothing for me, I like results at the track.

Maybe, not sure if we can afford the time away from the shop right now.

Devin

That'd be how I'd go about it too if I were running something pushed that hard - from a "argh flow indication" standpoint it'd be interesting to know, but realistically the most important variable 'Is it fast?" has been answered. I am guessing you would be pushing it to 50+psi on the track when you aim for PBs, and it's showing every indication it has the airflow to support it? Hypothetically speaking, would you say if you DID the Super94 may be good for just under 1000whp and the Super99 maybe between 1000-1100?

Cheers for the responses, very cool to be able to get that kind of input and qualify what these units are doing - FP sound like they have nailed it, and have the right people proving their products

When the car went 8.1 it was on just over 50 PSI If I had to guess I would say the Super 99 is worth about 75 WHP over the Super 94.

Awesome, thought that might be the case- and thanks for the educated thumbsuck, the performance so far definitely seems to indicate that kind of territory
