So I went to import face off today and decided to run the Evo. I didn't do to well, It was my first time ever tracking any car. I ran a 14.4 @ 102mph. I did not launch the car ( that was my first mistake ) Secondly I bogged it something terrible lol So all in all i'm okay with the time I trapped but would have really liked to get in around the mid to high 13's.
Yeah... more practice!
Make sure you relaaaxxx (which is hard to do with everyone watching youse!)... i could launch well (in my Z) but 'under pressure' i would load the engine too much and then miss shift to 5th (instead of 3rd) [rolls eyes]... It took a lot of practice to be consistant.
This may not be you - but just relaxing (take a deep breath) and rolling my wrist so i was 'on top' of the shifter instead of grasping it to the side) really helped me...
Good luck!

What color was your evo? If that's what you were driving of course.
Edit: Never mind that, The build thread in your sig explains it all. I like your 9, good run BTW.

My reaction time was terrible because I was caught sleeping. My 60" was terrible as well because I didn't want to launch it, do to having very little experience launching the damn thing.
