This is my first evo its the Evo8 gsr so i got tuned about a month ago and took my car to etown this past Sunday for the spring nationals.The track is not new to me at all i raced my subie there quite alot, but first time launching my evo and using a two step.
I made about two passes and didn't get a proper time at all.My problem is that i was staging the car a little too early just before the second tree lit up and the car kept moving forward so it keep triggering the red light and the computer didn't detect the car was there so no times was recorded.The first pass i actually fowled and stood at the light thinking the guys there would have reset the tree but i had to continue and the car trapped 107 mph.I made around 330whp so i wanted to know where should this car run, i am thinking 12.7 to 12.8.Please any advise would be appreciated in launching as i would be going back tomorrow for time trials to get some practice thanks.

 

330whp should be bottom 12s at around 111-112

 

yeah i know the car is in the 12's for sure, there is a dyno shootout @ tach motorworks this month for just $50 bucks so i will take advantage of that and see what it makes in the dyno for sure.

I'm planning and going to etown to test out my evo as well. Its prob going to be on a Wed/friday night test and tune.

the silver one, i run with a white rs and i jumped the light and my time didn't record but he ran a 13.2 and i was way ahead of him.I was going yesterday but it rained out, looking to next wed or fri night.Pm me your contact # and i will hit you up a text when i am going will be pretty soon.

with 330whp, It should be able to trap AT LEAST 116. For comparison, I dynoed 309whp on a mustang dyno and trapped consistently between 114-115.
