Specs so far (my old turbo motor with a set of made up headders)
4g64 de stroked 2.1, alloy rods, JE pistons, cnc ported head 350cfm @.50 etc.
9.0:1 compression for now, mechanical fuel pump, methanol, Hypertune intake plenum, 100mm throttle body.
Haltech E11 ecu, MSD DIS 2 ignition, bosch coils.
Makes 240hp at the wheels so far, turning it to 10,100
We weighed it and with me in it 1950 lbs.

I thought I would put up my side project for some fun.
It was fun to drive thats for sure
1st pass 12.6 @111 (missed 2nd gear)
2nd pass 11.92@113 1.64 60(big wheel stand)
3rd pass 11.88@114 1.73 60(popped a wheelie in 2nd gear LOL)

 

Wow thats impressive and very different ! first mid engine mirage Ive seen. Looks like alot of fun and I can only imagine what this could do with an extra 140hp or so.

Wow low compression and still making power, why didn't you opt for a 12-1 option? Just curious? Unless you plan on a turbo later on.

 

Im in the process of building a 14:1 4g64 102mm crower bottom end.
The low comp bottom end is my turbo motor which made over 700whp.
I was trying it out to see if it had potential etc and I wad pleasantly surprised.
I painted it yellow and took it out again and it ended up with 11.820, 11.820 and a 11.77
so yellow paint does go faster lol
