This past weekend was an awesome expereince for me.
This was my first time qualifying for a national event.
As you can see in my signature I race a '91 Turbo MR2.
I entered the Sport RWD field this weekend which had a total of 6 cars ... 5 of which were AWD. I was the lone RWD car there.
I had the pleasure of meeting "big Al" as you all seem to call him.
He qualified 3rd with a low 11 and I qualified 4th with a 11.7, so that put us up against each other for the first round of eliminations.
He took me with an 11.4 to my 11.7 and it was all my pleasure.
Regardless of my loss, racing him pushed me further ... that run was a new personal best for me. Thanks Al
I want to give mad props to Al for being the perfect example of sportsmanship.
He has great character and he gives great respect in a sport that is often riddled with poor egos.
... see you in two weeks at ATCO

Hello JekylandHyde,
I'm not sure if this is you or not so I'm asking. About 2-3 years ago, I used to race in Philly. I used to be on a site called PSR that had various videos of streetracing. It's no longer in service. Every now and then, I raced a Subaru Wagon ....all white with black stripes...called 'V8Killa'. I saw a few videos of a white MR2 around the time I was up there. I never got to meet the dude who raced it but it was hella fast from the videos I saw. Is this you? If so, I may or may not have met you since I had met so many people back then.
If it's you, congrats! You've come a long way and that's a killer ride.

Myxalplyx, as far as I know, the only video I ever had on PSR was a legit race at Maple Grove and that was back in '98. I suspect you have someone different in mind.
