because i felt i was being attacked by him because he does not like me.
i didn't say anyone was lying did i?
I said, is there any timeslip or video proof? what is SOO wrong about that? Turbotrix has done nothing in my mind to say that they are un-believable, of course i have to believe it. Its the only word there is of it, but i just asked the simple question, and i got bombarded by two people at the same time...defending turbotrix, when i only asked for documentation..

Ladies I mean fellas
Relax with your timeslip pissing war. Who really gives a **** about this bs. Evos are very capable cars as we all know
. I'm sure Als ride is a **** hair away from besting TT evo. Competition makes one humble it's the he said she said bs we can all do without. Rock On!

1st of all - all this animosity is misplaced
Major props to Turbo Trix - nice pass and way to go of course
However - lets keep it real here
SO FAR they have accomplished little
I am running within 3 mph and 3/10ths of them on a tiny turbo that spools up at 3900 rpms - all stock breaks, power steering, a/c - street registered and dialy driving
To compare my almost stock Evo with stock drivetrain, breaks, a normal air to air fmic, pwoer steering and a/c - - to a drag monstrosity which has no a/c - no power steering and a water to air i/c - amoung other things is just ridiculous
I say that I respect any one who has the passion to build a fast Evo - no matter who they are we all share the same hobby
However - all the haters who are jumping on my forum with this thread like this is some major event are just silly
To me a great acomplishment what I have done last week - DRIVE to the track on my own wheels - do passes for two days at 11.2 in NHRA compeitition - DON'T BREAK ANYTHING and drive the car home and keep driving it every day
Next week at Atco - hopefully I can line up against the Turbo Trix car - I like good competition
As for the validity of the time slip - who cares - thier car should be running 9's very soon

Not attacking your major accoplishments nor you.
TT's car
Does not have stock brakes I think they are even smaller
Full stock tranny,Diffs and transfer case
Almost full int.
It's still a EVO not a tube frame funny car with a auto. It can be driven on the road.
WWow, someone must be constipated? Dudes, let's all chill out. Everyone here so far has a point, they definitely ran 10's. But there are always going to be skeptics who need to see proof, and that's fine too, especially after the RNR thing. We are a very interesting species, (the EVO crowd )that is, a DSM in the 10's is nothing new to most of us who have been going at this for years.. But now its EVO TIME and people need to see to believe and thats fine too, Mark or Jeff will be putting up the slip for all those who just cant accept the fact that Jeff rocked the EVO into the 10's on its first pass........Guys, relax we are all in this for fun....at least we should be.....having fun.........GOD BLESS!!!
Congrats guys. I still have to get my *** (and my car) down there to meet the TurboTrix crew. Hopefully I'll be running again by mid-late June and I'll come bug you guys for some head work or EMS tuning or something.
And BTW, Big Al has accomplished alot. His car is street registered and driven everywhere and has not broken yet, has gone low 11's several times already, that cannot be taken away from him either. Does his car have the ability to run better, DEFINITELY, even big Al knows that. But hey he does not want to break his daily driver and thats cool too, but the car does have it in it to go much faster, but for all who realy know the guy He's a fun guy, totally insanely bitten by the racing bug, and he drives a fast EVO loww 11's is not easy. Maybe he someday will let someone half his weight and with no respect for the car drive it, just to prove that the car is faster than its shown. But I take nothing away from anyone mentioned here, Turbotrix freaking ROCKED into the 10's and that was just the beginning, they will be MUCH FASTER SOON, congratulations. And Big Al, Hey man U DA MAN, an already proven low 11, definitely 10's capable daily driven street car is nothing to sneeze at guys. U dont have to like either one of these guys, but u should wake up and see that the facts are the facts, they are both FLYING just in two different categories. Congrats to all, cuz its all due.......GOD BLESS
Yeah, Al's car is undeniably fast. And with all the work he's done it's definitely not being run at its full potential...then again it is a street car. FWIW I can definitely respect that.
Aaron and Eric, please be easy guys.

I don't believe any of these times... I have an Evo too, and it's only like 12 something!
But seriously, I love this. People are seriously, and finally, impressed when I can tell them that evo's are breaking into the low 11's and 10's. I'm sure by the end of the summer we'll see 9's. Keep up the good work, y'all.
Also, Al, another props I have for you is you not only roll ultra-fast, but you travel the country to help make us all faster too, thanks!

Your right , we only accomplished runing 10's first time out at the track with the car. We didnt try numerous attempts and numerous motors / setups later. Highest mph evo and quickest ET ... Thats no accomplishment ????

You did not invent the wheel, we knew when we built the car that it wouldnt take us 2 seasons to run 10's. We did it on our first pass, no tach and conservative. I think we've accomplished alot. I am scanning the timeslips for all the na-sayers .. See you next weekend al
