TURBOTRIX EVO IN THE 10s
It doesn't have anything to do with "DynoFlash" but it does have to do with Al. Since he is the self proclaimed king of the 1/4 mile, I think it's appropriate that it's in the "Dynoflash" forum. Since he can only post in the DynoFlash forum, I was happy it was there...
Can Al post rebuttals on here? I'd like to hear what he has to say to TT's comments! (NOT trying to start a flame war, just interested in the FACTS of the runs/what they were running at the time of the runs!)

No he cannot. This thread is about another milestone for our Evo's and not an invitation for gamesmanship or argument. Just what the hell is there to rebutt? The car is an absolute monster, terrific piece of work and the time slip is posted. You guys really need to see it!
Congratulations to Turbotrix for raising the bar.... well done!
Speedlimit...
Anyone that has seen the TT car pretty much knows it will be the car to beat in the USDM Evo world. It is insane, the motor is artwork. The BS on here needs to stop. Al 's car is Sick TT car is sick. Really different approaches, different goals in mind. How boring would it be if all these guys did the same thing? I like the fact that they are so different. To each his own, everyone needs to chill and be happy you are involved in a community that involves a car with this kind of tuning potential no matter what path is taken to get to the end result. Congrats Jeff on the run. Was your tuning pretty conservative?

We've never used a liquid IC so we decided to try it. You may see an air-to-air on there soon. We have several other turbos sitting on the shelf that may be on the car soon...who knows. We now have four shop EVOs that we use to test all the parts we install. The orange car is for all the hardcore stuff.

Tiny turbo ? HKS 3037 ... FYI that is bigger then we are running ...
Our evo has stock interior, stock radio , rear seats, drivers seat... Stock carpet.. HID headlights , brakes work , horn works blinkers ect. Didnt you borrow carpet from ESX's car last weekend to make your car legal ? How ridiculous is not running a/c ? Do we need that while we're waiting to run the car ?? or to cool jeff off in the lanes ?
Dont break anything ...Al c'mon .. lets be fair here. Your on your 3rd motor , dropped valves, bent wrist pins, numerous rod bearings... The list is endless. Dont come off like your car is perfect and never breaks....
You did not invent the wheel, we knew when we built the car that it wouldnt take us 2 seasons to run 10's. We did it on our first pass, no tach and conservative. I think we've accomplished alot. I am scanning the timeslips for all the na-sayers .. See you next weekend al

You guys are making it sound like a "DSM" is totally different from an EVO.....The transformation from the eclipse's to the EVO sounds perfectaly normal. It's not like you can get a new eclipse with a 4G63 in it anyway. If anything, I would guess that tuners like TT has a leg up on other people because the cars are so simliar. I have no interest in getting into this argument, but I know of TT work and its no joke.
