that guy keeps saying 12.9 stock. Get some mods and run a 12.0 with turboback or repeat that 12.9.

A nice shallow stage, like just barely turning on the staging light(2nd light) will give you a nice low 60' time, but you will really have to adjust your reaction time as it will be quite a bit slower than a "deep" staged vehicle.Depends on if you go to the track to be a "Poser" and brag about how fast your car was at yada-yada-
yada test and tune day,or if you go on race day to win rounds.A good reaction time and consistant car will put you further in eliminations than one quick pass ever will. All depends on how serious you take drag racing. To each his own.

For people who don't frequent the track every week, it takes some getting used to to get good 1/4 mile times. It takes me about 3-4 runs to get used to launching at the track. Times represent driving skill. Trap speeds represent how much power the car has and how well it's tuned. Geez.. I don't see why people get worked up over the times so much.

Actually trap speeds will also depend on the driver not just the power the car makes. The driver can raise the mph up by shifting at the correct points and shifting quicker, both will keep the mph from stalling during a run. Key points are dont think about the shifting and dont over extend any of the gears.

Hey guys I went back to the track every since I fractured my elbow....it was a hot and humid day thus hurting the cars performance. My clutch was slipping too wich kinda sucked. My best run that night was a 12.7@108. My cousin with his mustang mach1 hit a 12.5 @ 108 with drag radials. The other best car there was a yellow evo he was hitting 13.1 @ 107 so it wasnt a bad night the other sti's and evo's where running high 13'2 and even some low 14 second passes.

hey q dont sweat it bro our clutches are still stock dont forget but they still have sack...it when we are launching the car the clutch is heating up and having trouble holding in the high rpm's...ive noticed that twice in second gear and end of 4th. No biggie. I will def be up there friday should be a good night because my cousin with his srt-4 will be running he has prob close to 300whp...then my cousins red gsx should be there he has around 450whp on pump gas tuned by turbo trix. My cousin with the mach 1 should be there to it will be a good night.
