Congrats!!! Some friends of mine who where there said the Evo going sideways off the line. I am positive that Martin will extract more power out of it and drop that 1/4 mile time. Once again, AMS gets the . By the way, when is the next time you guys are going to the track?

Do you guys have a limited slip front diff installed yet? If the car is going sideways off the line I suspect the answer is "no".... and you can probably get the car down to a 10.6 or even 10.5 with the same power and a limited slip

WHAT A NIGHT!

It was great seeing all those domestic meat heads laughing at the imports but when marting rolled to the line in our EVO with 4 Hoosiers on they just shut up and watched. I wish someone could of gotten a video of it from the rear because untill he hit 3rd that car was all over the place. SICK run!

Hey guys .. just curious ..how did you get those hoosiers to fit with the stock brakes ? We could only find them in 16's ..and not 17's .. And couldnt find a rim to fit. Im assuming your running the stock brake calipers .. Great run btw .. and with a/c .. congrats.

I took a grinder to them.... no not really. I put on GSR rotors and calipers to fit the 16" rims. I'm putting the stock brakes back on and running drag radials on 17" rims. I ran a ****ty 1.67 sec 60' time on the Hoosiers and I've done better on the stock tires. There are some new drag radials coming out that should give me decent traction on the stock sized rims. Thanks...

Martin

Just like Turbo Trix, you guys (AMS) have probably been getting loads of repeat questions, well if you post your time and info on the time slip list (sticky on top of drag racing forum) maybe that will help answer all these questions. The info can be updated when ever you like to.
