Personally I think you should be going a lot faster unless you're running like 2psi 92mph Maybe tuning or something not right in the setup.

As far as your 60fts being 1.6 and 1.7s I don't know where you heard that from but you can do that on slicks with good power. On street tires you will never get that.

well first off yeah my fuel problem if fixed...and second.. Geovannie this car was never ment for what i'm doing to it. and its only at 5 psi. this engine can't hold as much as your 4G63. i was jus being extream wit the 1.6-7 crap...all i need is like a 2.2-2.3 to get into mid 14's..........

I was not comparing it to the 4g63 I was comparing it to the 4g93 times. I guess maybe it is because your only running 5psi, why so low? I know the 4g93 can handle a lot more than that and I assume this engine is as good if not better.

Why only 5 psi? Well here is your answer...Compressoin Ratio is 10:1, High Compression means u must run low boost IF** you have no fuel management. 5-7 psi is safe with no fuel mods. i believe. and im too tired to explain the rest ill let Z do that ;d

Hey I'm not here to argue, he posted his time so I'm replying, you say no fuel management? On his signature it list a Apex SFAC. What is that a blue toy to play around with?

The Lancer CR is not 10.0:1 . . . it's exactly the same as the 4g93's 9.5:1 . . .

Under the cost saving plan from Mitsu, the 4g94 is slightly bore (will bring pics of a 4g93 - adj accordingly to the bore) and stroked a lot compared to the 4g93. There's no way Mitsu will introduce a CR of 10.0:1 in the US, unless introducing a new sport compact.

well first off...i don't want to risk blowing up my engine since this is my only car. you can only have the boost safely at 7-8 psi with the stock compression ratio. the stock internals can handel about 12 psi but you have to make the CR about 8.5:1. anyone who boosted their mirage and runs over 8 psi must have a lower CR or they don't want their engine to last.

also the MAIN reason my times were over 14 was because i burned out all of first and a little bit of second. its pretty hard to control this car once the boost kicks in under WOT in first gear since it only goes up to about what like 30 mph. its a really fast gear and all i do is burn out. so i probably would have been better starting out in second ( ok i'm jus joking for those who would take this seroiusly) anyway. yeah thats all i feel like typing now

I know about traction issues beleive me. However your MPH should still be higher. You only went 92mph see what I mean.

My friend is running 13psi daily on his car on a STOCK MOTOR. No decompression gasket etc. I'm not telling you to go and run 13psi but I am just saying that you should not be saying stuff like you have to have this to run this because it is not true.

Either way just like Dave said, if you want to run good boos the engine can handle it as long as it is tuned well with both TIMING and FUEL control.

i ran a 11.029 at the lakeland track here in florida. by the way ....my lancer is stock. it seems like you spent the extra $$ to get the turbo just so you can run an extra second.....lol not trying to rip on anybody but just thought i would put my 2 cents in.

You have to remember, ET has a lot to do with driver so if you want to compare really it is best to look at MPH. What was your mph and now comparing it to his.

One would think that would be obvious but Lakeland is a 1/8th mile track.
