ok...best time was 15.473 at 92.99 mph....i lost traction for first and an little bit of second gear and burned out. i could have made the 14's if i could plant my tires. the track seemed really slick. o well...i jus gotta learn to plant my tires...

yeah, for such a high speed you should've been much lower. That's pretty good tho Z, comparable to WRX stock. (in speed.) Doesn't a stock lancer do around 15.9 or somethin?

Do you have other slip passes like on the 1/8 and 60 feet?

here is the full slip

r/t: 1.232
60': 2.481
330: 6.751
1/8: 10.113
mph: 71.50
1000: 13.010
1/4: 15.437
mph: 92.99

the 60' should have been about 1.7-1.9...but since i couldn't grip i lost it there. my other time was 15.8...that was my first run where i paused because i had to let my tires stop spinning..lol i need softer tires for racing.

Lancers run low 17's stock i believe.

how did you you run a 16.5 stock, and how do you expect to run high 15's with just a pulley upgrade?

yeah you didn't run 16.5 stock...i'm pretty sure motor trend raced the car and did around 17.3 on a stock Lancer. take a photo of your time slip.

Nice run, all of your numbers are spot on for the power your making and being FWD. If you ran your stock wheels you probaly could've shaved another tenth off your 1/4 time.

To get into the 14's you'll need to get your 60' ft. times down to about 2.1 range with the MPH your running. Or if you can incease hp and get your MPH in the 96 mph range you'll be in the 14's.

As for getting 1.7-1.9 sec 60' ft. range with the amount of hp you currently have and not running slicks, sorry but that's just not realistic. AWD WRX's that run low 13's high 12's do 1.8 60' ft. times, 11 sec. FWD's with slicks run 1.6-1.7 60'ft. times.

All said, nice run z, knocking 2 sec. of a stock lancer's 1/4 times is quite an achievement and is definitely a fine start to getting faster.

You should put on your stock tires and check the tire pressure. Then go ahead and get the LSD from RRM. I bet you you'll get a way better quater mile time with that. Then maybe just take the seats off.

For the three questions asked. 1. I ran a 16.5 stock by going to the track and racing. 2.I expect to run high 15s prolly more realistic as like 16.1 or so with intake, exhaust, suspension, and of course the pulley. 3. run a search on pullies.

BTW- Zlancer I didn't keep my slip but I went to River City Raceway Seguin, Texas. It was like late March..

Hope everyone is satisfied because I care so much.

Matt

I guess you didn't catch my sarcasm. I meant how did you get a 16.5 "stock". I know you went to the track, but with just a stock engine, its not possible. I have raced my lancer at River City and Alamo drag way. With all that stuff you have ex. exhaust, intake, and etc. You'll be lucky to get 16.5, then. I'll believe it, when I see the slip!
