AWD burnout?

So I left my FWD 3000gt b4 I got my evo, and the only thing I miss, next to styling, is the ability to burn out from time to time. I have read alot about Vr-4 owners doing AWD burn outs, but I have never read it on this forum. How do you do it in the evo, and what dammage can it cause to the drive train?

P.S. I am not one of those people who burn out around every corner, but its just nice from time to time.

Any car you read about doing awd burnouts are highly modified. I have read about awd burnouts from Syclones mainly (dont even try to run a modded syclone, trust me), but not really VR-4's. A VR-4 is a heavy (4000+lbs) car, so it would need many mods done correctly to run well enough to do an awd burnout...... I'm sure you could find an EVO or two on this board that can do them.
awd butnouts prove nothing and will without a doubt ruin a perfectly good car!
Burnouts are for 'stangs and 'maros. Or is that the other way around? hmmm...

Just find a large parking lot after it rains and have at it.

Buy a bucket and do burn outs with it.

Get into a low traction situation (cold advans on a cold day might do it), slip the clutch hard, gas it hard and you'll stand still and smoke all four tires.
It's doable in a stock evo.
As for breaking stuff... it's certainly possible.

The car has enough power, but the stock tires are so grippy, you will end up tearing apart the drivetrain. the key to any burnout is the ultimate loss of traction somewhere between Engine and road w/ the ultimate goal of it being @ the tire. with lots of grip on the tires, it could possibly end up @ clutch, T/C, tranny etc. I can make a civic do a pegleg burnout so power isn't the issue..

Everyone has said it. It can be done at great risk to your car. Just be careful if you try it. I've done it once, and I basically on one burnout, burnt off HALF my clutch.

go get a rental car from hertz or something for $20 + insurance and do donuts, jump fences, tracks...

That would be a lot cheaper than $3000 + in parts and labour.
