rev to 3k, let the clutch out quick till your car starts to lurch forward, then more gas keep the revs at or above 3k and let the rest of your clutch out.

I did this ^ correctly last night, you need to have throttle control, try reving to 3k and keep it there for at least 5 seconds then try to let the clutch out a bit when you feel the rpm go down just give it a bit more gas as you let the rest of the clutch out and the floor the gas.

I did this ^ about 4 times in a row and didnt smell the clutch burn at all.

^ Yeah I do the same at 4k (because of my tune, boost comes in later) and it works great...without much harm to clutch or drivetrain. The trick is to feel the clutch engaging and flooring it once it's started to grab.
