How to increase the corner entry speed at the end of long straights?

The idea is to make the straight as long as possible, and braking later is one way of doing it. There are variables such as the dynamics of the turn following it, and how critical the exit of the turn is to fast lap times( you wouldn't want to sacrifice the turn if it leads to a longer straight, or if it'll screw you for a series of turns)

Pretty critical... Abruptness can upset the chassis, and an upset chassis doesn't like steering inputs, which means you waste time waiting for it to calm down .

Try the "No brake drill" Keith Code (famous motorcycle racing instructor guy) uses it a lot. What you do is leave your vehicle in one gear (4th is a good one for higher average speed tracks), and don't use the brakes. It teaches you a lot of things, some of which is learning that you can usually enter a turn a lot faster than you think, and getting you used to carrying more entry speed.

I don't think we can drive without reference points or 'feel'. We need both of them.
