do u think lowering my tire pressure would help me out on my launch? i have a 2 step set up at 5500. i slip her out and she takes off like a bat outta hell. Problem is its spinnig like carzy,bouncing off the rev limitor and when i hit 2nd, she boggs down and falls out of boost. (note: its not a stock turbo)

Any suggestions?

Let it spin more in first, you'll be able to feel the car stop accelerating and catching traction. What do you rev to in 1st? What turbo? What clutch?

 

doesnt sound like your tires are spinning more like its your clutch slipping. My tires were spinning the other night giving me a 2.1 60 ft and i wasnt bouncing off the rev limiter

 

my tires were spinning like crazy with 18 psi in all of them, sometimes you just need better tires lol.

this was on 255/40-17 kuhmos

 

What wheel/tire setup do you run? Size? What pressure are you running now?

 

im running stock size kosei k1-ts with kuhmo ecsta asx's. I will be investing in a drag radial setup in the near future.


Gotta get my evo off the jackstands first tho lol.
