More Speed From your Gears?

Hey Guys! Well I'm been testing shifting points to get more speed out of my 2nd-5th gear. Before I started testing this, I was just Shifting by Listening to my Engine rev, Then Shift when it sounded like it needed to be shifted. I Now Start shifting at 2 Different ranges
1.>3.5k-4k
2.>4k-4.5k

I Feel like My Second range is not to good for my Engine, So I'm asking if these 2 ranges are not good to be using. I have a 02' OZ If that helps to figure this out. Cause I don't really want to Spend money on a New Clutch.
Thanks,
-Andy

this all depends how your driving your car. are u driving in a fuel saving methood or are u shifting down a track or strip lol?

general driving around town i shift around 3.

if im on a strip i can take them all the way to redline its in how you let the clutch out if it will pull or not,

a stiffer or more sticky clutch wont really help ya either unless ur reallly slipping between shifts.
