Finally, 11.90's on Dynoflash and stock turbo

Made 3 good passes tonight on 100oct, best was 11.92 at 113.9, with a 11.99 on the third pass. I was getting some wheel hop so getting off the line was tricky, due to the wheel hop I only made four passes. First pass I let off right at the start line b/c of the wheel hop, second pass was a 12.02, third was a 11.99, was going to head home after that but made one more pass with the tools in the car and put down a 11.92 with a 1.70 60' and 1/8 mile at 90.2 mph. My goal was to run a few 11's with the car just like I drive on the street and I did it, took 4 trips to the strip but tonight was good weather and the winds were calm. Thanks AL and BR!

Man - I tell you this really made my day !

I am sure that David Buschur would be very proud of your efforts! His Stage 4 kit with Buschur Flash is really a bolt in - plug and play 11 second capable kit for a great price.

Congratulations and welcome to the 11 second club !

Thanks, it was a pretty fun quest! The car was running faster as it cooled off tonight but the wheel hop was scaring me. I am pretty sure it was have gone a little faster but I didnet want to waste the drivetrain trying to get the last tenth out of it. I was shifting quickly but not powershifting any of the gears, might be a little more in the car but not worth risking it.

Nice man, I posted in your other thread when you were stuck at 12.08. Did you reduce your tire pressure for better traction of the line. To avoid wheel hop try to keep your tires just a bit fuller. Wheel hop=Grenaded transfer case.

Wheelhop killed my stock clutch. That being said, nice runs! The consistency proves that you really have an 11 second street car.

What RPM were you launching at? If you're running the Exedy or Cusco, Try a quick slip at 6500 or above. It should help with the hop. They're strong clutches and can take it......... so I'm told.
