I just added a FMIC greddy unit and want to know if this will lean my car out and will it be dangerous?.
My car was mail in flashed for MBC/3 Exhaust/HKS Intake/Fuel pump

Will this adversley affect me?

Also I run a silencer sometimes on my helix setup cuz its soo damn loud. This adds backpressure thus raising egt's. Is this dangerous as well significantly make my car knock? I dont do it all the time and generally try to drive slow when I have it in

The IC will not lean out your car. It does not add or subtract air into your intake charge, it just cools it.

The issue with any aftermarket mods and evos in general is it ia always best to get a custom tune. Our mail in flashes while good - by necessity need to be very conservative and leave lots of power on the table.

As far as these changes go on the fmic - provided you mainatin the same boost point you should be OK - however we have seen significant a/f ratio changes with a well designed fmic due to increased air density. I would not imagine the Gredy unit would make a huge difference as it seems to be similar to the stock one - however - its always best to test your car with a wideband 02 sesnor and /or get a full custom tune when I visit. Trust me when I tell you that in most cases we are able to gain at least 10 - 15 safe extra whp with a custom tune.

As far as the exhuast - IF its making significant back pressure (unknown as I have not tested it) I guess that could have some impact as well

Testing is the best approach

BTW - I highly recomend the new AEM wideband gauge
