no meeting place as of yet. We are doing a street tune instead of a dyno tune. Why did you want to Dyno after? I was going to try and set something up alittle later on in the year for an Evo dyno day.

 

I had heard some original talk of doing a dyno prior and after, but the street tune is what I am looking for....

I did mine prior already, but if you get down here early on friday, you could probably make it to Modern Garage for a pull.

We had talked about trying to get a dyno day together before the tune but then Scott just took a trip to Modern and got his run I was hoping to run it with my full exhaust to get an idea of the improvement over my baseline before I get the flash, maybe we could run down on a friday afternoon sometime in Feb and do it.

 

Give me some noticed, I work in West Jordan and am usually there sun up to sun down. So I'll need to get time off! depending on cost I might be able to do one before the tune, but most likely will have to be after!

 

too far for me to drive for just a baseline tune..
maybe in the summer for an after-run to see where it is....

 

Are you putting the cams in before or after the tune scott? If before...you and I will both have mods on what we had when we first dynoed...and if I find some way of getting an extra 160 I'll have the MBC and fuel pump too

 

But how will you know what you have gained? I at least have a baseline from a few months ago so I will have an idea of what I picked up with the exhaust and tune. Still would like to get down there before my tune.

 

Jake I just ordered my fuel pump from 500whp.com yesterday for $85 shipped. Cheapest price I could find and they shipped it the same day.

 

Yeah, and Al has them for that price too, or at least he had them for something close to that price...problem is: if I spend 85...or even like 60...I'll be out of just the basic reflash even...I have enough I could buy Rob's MBC and a fuel pump...but then the flash would go out the window for sure

 

Then I guess you are caught in a catch 22, without the flash you do not need the fuel pump but without upgrading the pump it means you will have to get flashed again. I know how that goes, if it were me I would just get the basic flash then you will be running stock boost and will not have to worry about the pump. When you decide to upgrade save up enough for mbc, pump and a reflash.

 

Yeah, that's what I was planning on doing...we'll see what happens it's like a month and a half away...but I'd rather get the flash than an MBC and Pump first and then have to reflash later than to get them and have to mail in for the baseflash...aka I'd rather have the baseflash done while I'm there and then the mail in reflash later just to be sure itsa workin right...see, and if i get enough to get an MBC and pump before the flash, I'll just get a custom tune so that every mail-in reflash after that is free instead of 100 bucks
