Thanks to Al and Buschur Racing!!!
Just got back from a dyno day at DynoComp (getting a baseline) and it was great seeing a bunch of Evo guys in one place
, especially since all of them will be there next week for the DynoFlash. I just got dyno'd for the first time on a DD dyno which, correct me if I am wrong, is the stingiest dyno out there in terms of reported power output. With this in mind I am rather pleased at my numbers with just a:
BR stage 1
Walbro
mail-in flash from DynoFlash
I can't help but think next weekend, with a set 264's and a custom tune I should be knocking on 350whp on a DD dyno. Anyone have any idea what kind of power this would translate to on a dyno-jet dyno? Al, do you think I can hit 350 with the above?!?
Got a lot of people who are real excited to meet you next week Al, we spent a lot of time talking about ya, deaming of those huge numbers!

Here are the graphs, this was done in a room @ 65 degrees on 96 octane. I am most impressed by how smooth the power curves are, especially for just a mail-in flash, although I must admit I think the AF ratios are a little high?!

WOW - very very impressive looking dyno sheets there - esspcially for a through the mail flash. However - I can not take the full credit for this as it was the Buschur Flash from Buschur Racing that you were using. What I am looking at here is the silky smooth tq curve, flat a/f graph and obvious impressive power output ! 12.0 seems a bit lean - however - I would suspect inaccuracies in the testing equipment before a lean a/f as the car was running way to smooth to be too lean. Did they use some sort of probe in the rear tail pipe? Thanks
Thanks Al, yeah the probe in the tail pipe is exactly what they used, who know it may have been wrong, but what wasn't off was the smooth power curves, very happy! Next 350whp this weekend with DynoFlash!!
BTW - what a testiment to great tuning; 96 octane and this car belts out 24 psi without a single trace of knock (that is with 5 seconds inbetween pulls)
and even puts down 3 identical runs, car doesn't pull timing once!!

man, That DD reads REALLY high! Typically an EVO, on a DD, with those types of mods reads anywhere between 230 - ~245whp. Are you sure those numbers where not from "shoot out mode"?
btw, sorry, I didn't notice how old the post was
EDIT: After reading through the post again, I was confused by the numbers in his sig and what mods he had listed. The 307whp on the mods he initially had were great numbers! Even more impressive was the 343whp he got later on a Dynodynamics Dyno. Sorry for the mix up!
