Alcohol Q's?

1.Does alcohol injection have any long term effects on the motor? And if so, does the amount of use changed anything? I know the kit is designed to spray dureing a certain boost/full boost setting, but what if you have a lead foot and your always on it? Does this change wear and tear on the motor?
2.Does alcohol injection eliminate the need for higher octane completely?
3.If you have alcohol injection and a custom flash and you add some race gas into the tank(93+C16). Will it benefit you or would further tuneing need to be done to compensate for the higher octane? I know it couldnt hurt, but is it overkill?
4.What is the highest WHP Evolution VIII that is running a custom flash? What turbo setup are they useing?
5.What is the highest WHP with custom flash and alcohol injection? What turbo setup are they useing?
6.At what point of WHP would you recomend someone go from a flash to a EMS?

Thanks and keep up the good work!

Well i dont know if i am the highest but i dynoed at 376.2 on 93 at 25 psi 382 torque and the benefit is if i put some race gas i can boost at 30psi i should hit 410+whp stock turbo stock intercooler stock internals stock intercooler piping and flashed ECU by AL
the kit is awesome i have it set to start at 16 psi and i am running right now about 22-23 psi (waiting for headstuds/bolts) what this does is basically cools down everything meaning more boost i have filled up my car 4 times now and i am on my second gallon of alcohol the kit is great i test it everytime i get into my car which takes about 3 seconds (hold down a button) and so far knock on wood no problems whats so ever i think running this kit is safer at 25 psi then 22 psi with no alcohol. before this kit i raced my friends 500 hp s4 of the roll i lost everytime now with this kit set at 23 psi i was ahead of him by half a car lenght till about 130 really a huge difference.

Actually some stock turbos can reach 30 psi - it all depends on how the wastegate acutaor is adjusted and the tolerances on the individual turbo

Kuba, those are some pretty nice #'s you have there considering all the stock parts still on the car. Very nice! I bet the car feels like a beast now.

Al, have you "slotted" the wastegate actuator bolt holes in order to adjust it?

I'm still milling over pure Alcohol vs waiting for a "windshield washer" kit.

I really don't like thalking about those examples as it may lead to people trying things at home which thety should not try!!!!!!!!!! Lets just say that with a little creativity you can get that wastgate to remain almost 100% stuck closed at all times

In order to do this - you need race gas and / or alcohol injection; head studs and an appropriate tune

The results are shocking !

Big Al, You know what would be cool. A dual flash for pump and Alky. With the option to switch to between them.
