What does he run in the 1/4? I've seen Cobb numbers all over the place.

Are you stock?

A mail-in flash and MBC should help you beat him. Turboback and test pipe if you have the money.

I would say a new clutch should be on that list too.

get a STI with a with COBB stage 40xinfiniti . you'll definately beat him with that...

get your launch down first thing. with sti's you just drop the clutch. my friend launched his evo RS hard and because he burned it slightly on the launch, it slipped the rest of the gears down the track resulting in high 13's like your times.

I got a 1.8x 60' on my way back when it was gsx stock so try harder...

Definitely anything comparable to Buschur stage 1. Exhaust, boost control, and good tuning and you'll be running high 12's (I ran 12.8 like that...). Oh yeah, and a better clutch

I ran at 12.6 at 109 with K&N cone intake, MBC, HKS DP and HI Power exhaust and Power FC. I have over 30,000 miles and 3 trips to the track, all on the stock clutch.

I rev to 5,000 rpms and quickly slip the clutch. Once and a while if I slip it too long, I'll smell it after the run. My 60 ft was right at 1.8 IIRC. I'm sure I could get lower with a more aggressive launch, but it is the stock clutch.

try bliping the throttle around 5500 to 6500. On the 3 or 4 blip do a quick slip. Do not ride the clutch out
