Yes - I can tune without a gauge and we no lonnger need you to install a MBC or EBC as the flash controlles the boost to 20 psi - perfect for 91 octane.

The AVC-R is really a miserable unit - you would be far better off with a MBC for $86.00 which I can bring with me.

Al, since I don't need a Boost Controller, can I put what I paid towards the tune? Or should I get one anyways?

I got my car custom tuned last night. I LOVE IT!!! It's got to be the best thing I've done to my car. Thanks to Al I found out why my car wasn't running right. He took his time to figure it out and fix it. I definately recommend to everyone to get a custom tune. Al, I'll be getting that new intake as soon as possible. So I'll be sending my ECU for a reflash.

THANKS AGAIN AL!!!,
"Fast Shifter"

Wow guys - thanks for the amazing turn out - I am beraly able to function at this point and I am exhuasted - but it was a very cool way to spend a few days

Best part was new evop rs owner Kenric with 100%stock Evo RS 2005 and Dyno FlashBoost Controll version meeting up with a certail 427 Cobra turning onto an on ramp that had two labes merging into 0ne. One car and one car only would be the leqad car a the otrher iether off the road or behine in second position. I t is nice to report that the new boost controlling reflash is working so well that on an otherwise 100% stock RS we blew that Cobra away big time. The Cobra was spiining his tires too much and missing shifts and by the time he got into 4th gear we were at leat 6 cars in front of him.

Its moments like that that make all the long hours and hard work on the road totally worth while!!!!!!

BTW - Members Static and Luxurybroker are both onto something from totally difference approaches and they both have somne serious fast mid 11 second evo machines.

Thaqnks again guys for the business and an opportunity to enjoy this great LA weather.

Next time I will spread things out more so the scedule is not as dense and fast moving all day. I short 15 mionute breakl between cars would havwe been better so i could hang out for a bit with the car owner and shoot the **** before it was time to head out fo another hour of bonzai Al.

Thanks again guys

Don't give up so soon. There may be some minor boost leak or other simple problem which is holding you back. Do the basic diagnostic tests I suggested and let me know what you discover. Basically, that ATP turbo was a big disapointment though as at that boost level the stock turbo would make the same power of not slightly more. Ah - also - if you can test your boost gauge and make sure its accurate. Hand in there man - AL
