No other mods other than the flash and a k&n panel filter. This flash cost me $199. Just an FYI the vette won by 5 car lengths when I was stock, 2 with the flash and now he loses by 1/2-1 car length every time with the boost controlled flash.

Where do you race? Is there a open road or strip near you? If I was the vette guy id be looking for a nos kit, or something to hunt you down.

I witnessed this firsthand on his first successful trial car (I was his first trial, and it was unsuccessful due to who knows what exactly.. some stock boost solenoid issue, leak, or other thing) but I saw it on another car and it did work... Al does great work! And no, I'm not being paid to say anything either

hmmm, it seems like others are reporting great things with this flash as well. I still can't believe my tires briefly lose traction from a second gear punch, it is unreal. Botemarc, another person with this flash confirms my feelings on this flash; boost comes on faster and harder. It almost seems like antilag has been achieved by Al. I am still in shock and hope others will post who get this flash. I am not being solicited by Al as a matter of fact he re-flashed me for free when I was willing to pay him for it. He said nah, just take the ecu out of the car and I will do it for free! I think that speaks volumes about his service and everyone needs to know just how much of a difference this "new" flash makes. I am just a simple guy with ballistic evo for only $199.

so with this flash you can get 20 psi solid, but to get more you have to change the orrifice in the wastegate line?

I just sent my ecu few days ago and can't wait to get it back so I can put it in my car. After I got rear ended for some reason my car would stutter. I never had any tuning yet, but everybody told me I need tuning to fix the problem because the fuel pump seemed good when I checked it out, it mighta messed up my ecu settings for the fuel or something. But anyhow reading everybody's nice comments on AL's dynoflash, I hope my car runs fine again after I get the ecu in the car, and also have more fun driving the car with the extra power 8- )

I just got that same flash last week, and yes Punisherofall you were right the thing is a beast now! BIG DIFF from stock and the boost holds 20psi in 4th and 5fth. 1st to 3rd it tapers to 18psi. Much better pull in every gear. ITS A MUST! smother too.

The boost controlling flash is great but the MBC is really good also - its nice to ba able to adjust it. Its also nice to have the stock set up controlling the boost and remain warranty friendly. Both paths have benefits.

What's up Al, I received the ecu today and put it in my car. Car ran a little better, but I can't actually feel the power difference because my darn car still stutters 8- ( Still not sure what it is, I might change my bov back to recirculating. Got a new pump installed from a shop, it didnt fix my stutter problem, but they said its most likely a fuel problem. Took car to mitsubishi and they said its a bov or wastegate problem. Checked all my ic piping and everything, the freaking car still stutters whenever I punch it, if i baby it through the rpms it can handle it. Any idea on what it might be that is still causing my car to stutter?

Boost leaks and ignition problems can commonly cause this.
