acceleration problems after dynoflash

ok so i got the mail in dynoflash, i zero'd my safc2 settings to zero(high and low). now when ever i accelerate i get to 3500 rpm, the car hesitates, loses power, the bov goes off prematurely. i plan to have it dynotuned next thursday, but im worrying about driving it until then. has this happend to anyone before, does anyone know what could be causing it.

its hard to get a hold of al, the times that i have called him, hes been short w/ me on the phone. i was just wondering if anyone else had a similar problem. the car was running fine before. i installed a walbro 255lph fp and had it dynoflashed, now its running like crap. hopefully extrememotorsport will be able to straighten everything out.

I would try adding fuel with the SAFC in that RPM range where it's hesitating and see if that helps. It can't hurt. It could be that it's leaning out at that RPM range and knocking/pulling timing and that is what you are feeling. What intake do you have?

Are you sure your fuel pump is installed correctly? I had the same problem and it was due to my Walbro not being seated right. When I switched out the stock fuel pump with the Walbro I had forgotten to take off the white O-ring from the stocker and place it on the Walbro, because of that missing O-ring it was not creating a good enough seal. You might want to check that... PM me if you have any questions.

yeah thanks everyone for the feedback. i checked the stock fuel pump and the white o-ring was still on there. the directions i used off of this website did not mention anything about transfering this piece. ill install this piece tomorrow and hopefully it will make a difference. thanks again.

Glad you seem to be geaded in the right direction.

Walbro fuel pump instalation is a common trouble spot.

Let me know how it works when you install the plastic speacer.

OH - and sorry for being short on the phone - but many times when people call me I may be on the dyno or road tuning a car.

That is most likely your problem then, that white (I guess the proper terminology is spacer but I keep calling it an o-ring) spacer is what gave me a problem for days until it dawned on me that is what I was missing. I used the directions off the website as well and I figured it was pretty much a straight swap, and it is, you just have to transfer that white spacer from the stocker to the Walbro. Let us know how it goes.

I think that wide black rubber piece you're reffering to is the cap that it came packaged with. I'm not at all sure, but try to take it off.

Take off the rubber piece - put on the white spacer and then re-install the rubber peice. The spacer pushes the oring back up into the fuel pump housing creating a seal
