Yeah I'm cool with whatever the policies are at some places as long as the results are good.

If I lived near Pruven I would have my car tuned by Al on their dyno, but when he road tunes he treats customers cars like pieces of dog****! REALLY!

TT tuned my car Friday and I was right there in the middle of everything. Granted it was at a dyno in miami that stated (No customers beyond this area)... Mark was very helpful, while running around in the dyno jungle of people breathing the sweet smell of carbon monoxide. Nice guy and even nicer power. Thanks I picked up around 40WHP from my previous tune.

He knows becuase when I met him for a custom tune last week in Sacramento CA I accidentally rubbed the bottom of his lowered car on the pavement in a hotel parking lot and also toched the front of his bumper into a parking lot curb. Of course both were my mistakes. Lucky for me no damage was done to his car. I made it about 200 feet out of the hotel parking lot - turned aroud and came back in.

It was decided that this customer was not happy with my driving and I decdied it would not be a good idea to try and actually tune his car.

We shook hands and I left - but it seems he harbors some issue with me.

I have learned in this business that its impossible to make everyone happy. I try my best. In this case I did not even tune the guy's car. I accidentally rubed his lowered car on the pavement and now I have to deal with him high jacking every thread and posting negative coments about me.

I have driven over 1,000 of my customers evos - not crashed one and never broken anything or damaged anything.

I have made a lot of evo owners really happy people over the past two years and done a lot of good tuning. Also, I have had some people who did not care for my services. Everyone is entitled to his / er own opinion. What I dont like is when one like like this guy keeps posting and reposting the same complaint of the forums over and over again. You made your point - I think at some point you should just move on.

Al worked around a TON of problems on my car (all which were my fault, I install parts like a club handed monkey) and managed to squeeze out 335 HP all the time working around a MASSIVE boost leak. This guy works his *** off for us, between dyno pulls Al would reflash my ECU and answer questions here on the forums then back to the dyno to make another run, all this while answering phone calls. He trully is a one man show so cut him some slack.
Thanks again Al, you rock

Thanks for the kind words. Friday was a very busy day and sadly every car that came in to get tuned had mechanical issues which needed to get diagnosed and fixed.

That and playing with that road racing car put me there until almost 10:00 p.m. and I wound up working on my car all night to get ready for today's race. In some strange way working all night to get ready for a race is a test of will that shows me how much I am driven to motorsports.

In your case, I was shocked how much power your car made with a significant boost leak.

I am thinking your alcohol kit problem may be a defective unit. Call Steve at SMC and go over the situation with him.

When you get it all sorted out please come in for your free re-tune.

Well, You can expect my mail-in ECU sometime in the next two weeks. I'd trust you for a custom tune, but at this stage I think a mail-in will be just fine.

hehe no worries here, i just wish there was a little more of a personal feel at TurboTrix. I love the work and tune u guys did, however last time i got my parts installed and tuned, at the end of the day it was just like "Your dyno sheet is on ur seat, and your total comes to $______."

Actually, I liked you a lot Al. However, since you did that to my car Al, never said sorry(until later on the forums),wouldn't let me drive my own car, telling me that you don't let people drive u around, WTF, like I want to drive you around(even though your the "tuner", I felt like I should be driving after you ****ed up my car), then you leave because you can't drive my car, again WTF, it's my car.

Anyway I am just pissed that you weren't half the guy I thought you were. Oh well, I guess I just expected you to be professional and treat my car like all the other places I have taken for tuning, etc. Sorry for expecting so much of you, I forgot you don't know how to take care of people's cars.

A SIDE NOTE: Another guy there got tuned before me told me that Al was flooring it in 3rd, eating a burger, steering w/ his knee, and looking at the AFR gauge. I am glad you will never sit in my car again. And until you stop treating people's cars like dog ****, I will keep calling you out on these boards. That, is a promise.

Jesus, all this bickering, Al has stated before that if he had done any damage to your car he would pay for it, you got no problems to your car, we had a problem with a guy here, but no-one feels safer in his own car unless you are driving it. Al drove my car, tested it on the street I have no problem as I know I would have done the same, of course I did. My car made power, I have told Al that I love his tune problem is I never used the high boost setting nothing else, and it was because when I upped the boost a bit I didnt get the launch I wanted, too much torque with more than 24 psi, the alternative? Going with some other mods to keep boost up top to make more trap speed. Your car is fine, stop whining and hijacking every thread here and on EVO General.

Man I started this thread to counter this kind of thing, usually people only speak up when they are pissed, happy people go on about their lives or find some other retarded thing to complain about. Al drove my car, he drove it like I drive it, hard. Had he not done that he wouldnt have been able to diagnose my fuel preesur regulator problem, so guess what Im glad he did what he does. If you want him to tune your car for maximum MPG Im sure he will be happy to drive you around Ms Daisy, if you want max HP that happens when your foot hits the floor.

BTW Tell Dan and all the guys at PRUVEN that the shop EVO is GORGEOUS

We just had a bad unit come through. We took it apart and fixed it , but right out of the pump is a check valve ( one way ) this was blocked up and didnt open. When you hit the test button nothing happend. Just something to look out for. SMC was super helpful on the phone, i would call them

Stop *****ing about stuff... it happens and I'm sure if there was any damage done Al would have been happy to pay to fix it. I am super pleased with how my car feels now after my tune. Was it worth $400... F*ck yea... was it worth a 12hour drive probably... but it worth more than anything for him to catch the problem on my car and saving me and my motor. Got to see alot of cool evos (that shop evo was un f*cking believable), and got to meet alot of nice ppl. Sounds like u were pretty happy with your car too evovette... sorry to hear about ur problems tho... keep us posted.
