dynoflash/mitsu/warrenty stuff for newbs

Just b4 I get flamed, I went through 4 pages of threads on this subforum and PM'ed Al, but havent heard anything yet. I'm assuming he is super busy, so can someone answer this

Can Mitsu dealers tell if your car has been dynoflashed by Al? I have a brand new car and an extended warrenty (fat good that will do me, judging by what I have learned on this forum about how mitsu treats their customers).

Do I need a MBC to get my stock car reflashed to hold 20psi or does the refalsh take care of it?

(I changed the title of the thread so it is easier for newbs to find)

They cannot tell and you should get the MBC.

The flash gets rid of boost taper... A MBC will do this.

The flash also increases your rev limiter, fuel cut, and removes the speed governor...

on every 2005 vehicle the OBD II scan will show evidence of any reflash if the delear knows what to look for

I can reflash you back to stock anytime and there is no trace

My flash controlls boost to 20 psi

Thanks

Hey man, keep in mind that by putting on a MBC they can void your warranty on your drivetrain, that is what happened to me, when I had a 5th gear grind, $2700 later! If you put one on, take it off prior to servicing your car at the dealership!

Yeah, I have been told that b4. I was just going to let the dynoflash hold the boost at ~20 psi and not worry about an MBC. Are they easy to take off and can notice if you do take them off?

Yeah, I am going to have a go at them as they hit me with the hard sell "everything is covered to 80000 miles". This was b4 I knew what they were like. Has anyone fought with and won on these issues?
