The private for sale/wanted thread is a good place to start trying to find a fuel pump.... That vid is sweet albeit inappropriate for this particular thread.....

 

The dyno is a go for the 22nd of Oct. at Taylors... Al you could look into flying into Hickory, Charlotte, or Greensboro airport, all 3 are less then a hour away from the dyno... Bruce

Did the dyno guys say how much they will charge per car ?

 

Its $900 for the whole day's use of the dyno. So the more we get to use the dyno the cheaper.

 

So far it looks as though 7 people are doing custom flashes with dyno time. 1 is just using the dyno. So that is 8 people total for the use of the dyno so far....which puts the price at $112.50 or per car.

This will be more economical if we can get about 3 more people to use the dyno.

 

Its $900 for the day. He said he opens at 8 a.m., but he will get there at 7:30 a.m. if I want him to. And he told me i could have it as late as 9 p.m. I know some people just want dyno time and some people want dyno time and custom flashes and some people want base and bench flashes. Joe and I will take care of getting the dyno set up. Al how many custom flashes do you feel you want to do in that time frame... Bruce

 

This makes for a lot of confusion on my pricing and scheduling of time.

I think we need to know how many guys are 100% in for a custom tune, figure out how much time is needed on the dyno and then I can calculate a price. Obviously if we get 10 guys for custom tunes price will be different than if we have 5.

I prefer shops that will charge a flat fee per car dynoed which makes it easier to figure out how much to charge.

Lets see how many people are 100% in then I can work out a price and then we can later figure out how much time will be left for dynp pulls and how to handle that.
