It was a good time! I wish I could've stayed past lunch but we had to get on the road back to NC. Wish I could've brought my slow evo down for a tune but the money was tight and the trip was spontaneous. Anyways, 8th wonder it was cool meeting you. The car with the Alky did make some sick #'s. Doug it was a pleasure and I'll be seeing more of you guys in the near future hopefully. Killboy, goodluck with the site. And cheers to everyone who was there.

 

A big thanks to Top Speed for being such an excellent host. And of course, a big thanks to AL for tuning the car. It definitely feels alot smoother and stronger now.

I still wish I would have gotton more HP than we did, but hey. It is what is is for the minimal mods that I have. Al, any chance you could send me the dyno graph. The torque numbers were great though. Time for the cams and cam gears, then lets do it again.

Nathan what were the mods on your car ?

 

Full 3 inch TBE (no neck down) with test pipe, 255 lph fuel pump, and the blitz sbc-id boost controller.

I was the car that needed new spark plugs. Which actually leads me to a question. Lat night on my drive home I was hitting it from time to time in 3rd gear. In doing so, exhaust note was popping, it that the misfiring going on from my plugs being shot? If so, then cool, because I am putting new ones in here shortly.

Al did a V3 Boost Control update to my previous base flash and it provided the boost hold I expected. I'm looking forward to future mods, Cams, FMIC, Fuel pump and a custom tune by Al someday at TopSpeed. Great fun learning new things from other owners and the TopSpeed staff. Nice to know there is a place I can trust to do great work.

Special thanks to John for the ride in his car..... it was nice to experience the difference in power made with a few safe mods....I'm hooked!

 

I also wanna give thanks to TopSpeed for been the great host they are. Giving thanks to AL for hooking me up. I don't have any serious mods but AL was able to give me 282whp and a smooth ride. Got to get me some cams. Big AAA++ for TopSpeed and Al's DynoFlash. Glad to meet everyone. Sorry about the kids, playing Mr. Mom until wife returns from Iraq.

The "Beast" (not) getting a fuel pump install by the boys at Top Speed. I only made about 300hp and 260 torque...something is wrong with my exhaust install, but we'll get it straight.
