You have to see it to believe it.....they put an obstruction inside the pipe. it looks like a half moon and it blocks a lot of air for whatever reason....

Flipped my maF upside down and cut out half moon and no difference in how Typhoon runs. I bought the thing a while ago before anyone knew it was crap. I have made decent power though after tuning with AFC II, but just putting it on with no tune was horrible. Car constantly was stalling in stop/go traffic, hitting boost/fuel cut, and overall felt like it was making less power than stock. Would not recommend to anyone and getting a replacement soon.

The Hallman MBC is a great product

I fell in love with the Forge MBC as soon as I saw it and never looked back

question though....i'm not doubting that the K&N sucks...but what makes it so much different than other intakes that yield good results......it's basically a pipe and a filter....yes?
I have no idea how they made it suck so badly - it must have taken a special effort to screw it up that bad - but I have seen them sucking bad for a long time

This car was especially bad - in fact the worst I have ever seen

The Typhoon is trickey and usualy takes hours of custom tuning to mail it

I am still not confortable doing mail in flashes with that intake
BUT - then again everything is better than the way it runs on the stock tuning !

WOW Al, you did a really nice job cleaning that up and tuning it! It's like a night and day difference.

I am very impressed, great job and the tune!
