Don't rely on the SAFC - I already did that for a year and was driving around without about 30wtq until I got my flash. The SAFC is the bottom-level tuning tool and is not capable of keeping up with a flash in terms of tuning unless you upgrade the injectors, which would make no sense at your current level of mods. Plus, even with injectors, you would only be fooling the ECU into giving you the combination of AFRs and timing that are optimum for power with those mods, and yet you'd still not have the great features of a Dynoflash: raised rev limiter, removed fuel cut, launch control, and idle speed control.

You can always keep the SAFC for fine tuning on top of the flash like I also have done. When you add race gas at the track, you can retune with the SAFC to account for the higher octane, but make sure you also have a wideband o2 and logging device.
Thanks Warr, that makes me feel better. I've been rolling stock(except light weight race flywheel and HD Clutch) for 2 years now. It's killing me being pretty much stock and watching all you guys getting faster.

Warrtalon is 100% right. You will see awesome tq gains down low. I gained 30tq from 3500 all the way to about 6500. I also picked up probably 15-25hp throughout the curve.

When you're ready, check out Warrtalon Stg2. IT's about the best price you can ask for when trying to achieve 300whp/300wtq. It includes all the mods you need to prepare you for bigger mods down the line:

Just thought I'd post up what I'm having tuned. I'll be hanging around about all day Saturday. It would be nice to know what everyone else is getting tuned.

Road tuned last year by Al with an EcuTek:
Buschur 3" exhaust(flex section, high-flow cat, Magnaflow)
Walbro 255lph fuel pump

Newly added:
Hallman MBC (~20psi)
GSC 272in/264ex cams with stock gears(just installed over the weekend)

Side note: I plan to just run the car in closed loop mode until after the tune; for fear of running lean due to the cams. The long term fuel trims are still floating around 0, but I'm going to err on the side of caution. .......must resist... the urge... to floor it...

LOL Hard to stay off it. I'm just refraining from putting the hammer down in 4th and 5th gear because of high boost/loads. I've somehow got to get a Forge WGA before Friday.. I can't run 24psi on pump gas and the stock WGA isn't going to fit without some modification.

Old Tune:
BR Stage 2.5 made 300hp/275tq 22psi

New Stuff
BR Intake Pipe
BR Upper IC Pipe
20G-9 Turbo
Ported Mani
Ported o2
780cc Injectors

I think that's it

No one wants to hang out with you! lol j/k

I might not see you this time. My flight will not be back in Cleveland from Milwaukee until 2:44pm. So I may be back in time to hang out for a little while.
