Andrew, you will need to get tuned on race gas to have that 2nd map. Are you signing up for the 17th to get a custom road tune on race gas?

Am I assuming correctly to think that utilizing a dual stage map we are losing a map that was previously designed to be used when experiencing detonation, knock, ect.?

No, the knock map is still there.
The "dual stage" map is nothing more than tuning safely for both situations.

So the ECUTEC flash offers dual stage maping? Would that offer better performance then a traditional flash?

What does ECUTEK offer over a traditional flash?

No, it just costs a lot more. What is with the EcuTek interest? EcuTek is a licensed software program that many tuners resell, but at pre-defined costs mininums of $650. It also has restrictions that aren't present in the TechTom flashes like not allowing the removal of fuel cut.

They deteriorate? I've never heard of such a thing. EcuTek is just another flash...

Yeah they do. Like you make some #### f power, but if you knock on the street, it richens up and power drops down. My biggest loss was 347-289WHP inside of a month.

I guess I was assuming that you could get this just like a mail in flash......assuming that you were going to be at a certain amount of boost with a certain amount of octane......
