Just wanted to mention that i got my HKS RS Intake installed and MBC and WOW, what a difference steady boost makes. Holding boost around 1.4bar and spiking up to 1.5 slightly past in 6th gear. But im really loving just these 2 mods, cant wait for my AMS TBE to come in.

Bump. Al, i sent you a pm but i guess you dont read them. Can i do a walk-in on sunday for a reflash to get 2step launch control and other mods into the ecu? Im coming from dallas. I have some 272 cams that are not installed. Should i install them before i get there or after the flash? Dont want to ruin engine.

I think my original question post got buried

Al, I have a IX so I'm wondering - should I go V4 boost hose or MBC? The Reason I need to know is if you suggest MBC I need to make sure and buy one before the 11th. Is the boost hose easily detectable by the dealership? or easily removable in case I need to get my vehicle serviced at the dealership?

AL, Yes my car already has a flash. But i want you to do one of your own. So can i drive the car without a flash on the cams? Or should i get them installed after the flash?

I would do a MBC and then remove it if you ever have a significant warranty issue

MBC is really the best boost control

yes you can drive without the flash - just please be sensible and stay on low boost till you get tunes

Do the cams before you get tuned

Alright cool. I'll see you sunday mourning when we decide on a location. Do you need my mod list now? I need a reflash for 93 octane and 272 cams with the mods that are on my sig. Thanks

Al, I'm a little confused now. The V4 boost control looks very attractive to me due to the reasons that you list below and the fact that I dont have to remove / reinstall parts when I get my car serviced. I only have a HKS catback and a works filter which I've currently removed and am running a stock paper element because of abusively dusty conditions in my region. If you stand by the MBC comment above then I'll purchase one though. Do you sell them? Can you bring one and I'll put it on in Houston or do I need to purchase and install prior to the trip?

In the V4 boost control you said this https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=178026

For the time being this is offered ONLY to STOCK EVO IX's only.
