I don't have an answer, but i do have a similar problem...I seem to get the p0300 every 500 miles or so, but it doesn't occur at higher rpms, only if I'm rolling around in traffic or at idle. My idle usually gets real choppy and i lose smoothness under 3k rpms. My car has a buschur flash on it, which I believe was created by Al correct? Does anyone else have these issues on an 05, mine is an MR.

What RPM is your car idling at operating temp.

You can adjust your idle using the iac screw on the intake manifold

mine idles right around 800, and 90% of the time it's fine, but every so often it just gets choppy as hell. I may just bring it in to Al and see if he can custom tune it.

We already spoke about this issue that you should foward the ecu to me to revise the tune with the new 280 cam idle revision which should resolve these code issues

I think I need this because I constantly get the High RPM code and my idle is constantly 1000 or above.

ohh mentioning that you bumped the idle up that high because you had 280's might have helped

I have 264's, would I still benefit from this idle revision? I'm assuming the idle programming would be taken care of through a custom tune as well. I live in Mass, so it makes more sense for me to do it that way it would seem.

All that would take is an Idle Set Screw adjustment, not a reflash. But if it is free and Al wants to add timing down low, then go for it. P0507 is idle higher than expected. Turn the screw clockwise to tighten.

P0300 = Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0507 = As said before "P0507 is idle higher than expected"
