I paid 100 dollar deposit like everyone else.
I get my timeslot like everyone else.
If you feel like you don't want me there for whatever reason.
Refund my damn money and i wont drive 8 hours one way to get tuned and i will take my buisness elsewhere.
Personally the way it seems is, you took my 100 dollars and now refuse to tune me.
I would actually consider that stealing 100 dollars.

Oh, don't worry. There's been much more via PM and IM, you can believe that. It's settled now, but it's definitely been a pain. You don't have to worry about Al not coming, though, because I have to get tuned and he already has a plane ticket!

Hey Warrtalon, how did you do on your first dyno run here in CO?

Did you lose a lot of HP? How did the thin air effect your tuning?

Do you still run a leaner A/F ratio since the air is thinner?

Did it effect your road tune?

 

I got tuned sunday,for alky,cams,etc...everyone that drove the car,said it was one the strongest ones so far,but for some reason,i'm not holding boost,spike to 26psi and quickly goes down to 18 or so

 

I am very happy. Although I was "That Guy". My MBC was hooked up improperly (T- to the DV) Al was rather unhappy with me. We were already running late then the first two cars up on Sat. had BC problems. The guys at 9sec. jumped to it and had my car in great shape in no time. Al is def. 1 of a kind, in his words (insert east coast accent here) a "Funny Guy". It took a while to get used to his style, but I gotta say the guy is brilliant. He was great after I took off of all of the "Ghetto ****" off of my car.

The only disapointment I had was that there was no dyno. I have never dynoed one of my cars before (to the wheels anyhow) and wanted to see it. I kinda thought it was included in the price, but after my own stupididty I am just happy to have a MUCH faster car.

I had an essentially stock car going in, and added all of my mods the day before the flash. The 6.5TME TI is really impressive. This morning (according to my crappy autometer boost gauge) I hit 25 psi at 2800 rpm and it held 21-22 at redline in 3rd! I have never had a turbo which just snaps to life like that. It is def the auto-X king of turbos.

In first gear without launching and just rolling on the throttle in first I break all four 255/40/17 Falken azenis rt615's loose! Yowza! LOADS of torque down low. I previously owned a 12.9sec (at bandimere) DSM and the EVO is much faster and more civilized. I can't wait to get some times. If I had to guess I would say mid/high 12's given good conditions.

Yellowgsr- If you have a stock turbo, from what I saw that day, all of the stock 9.8's fell down to 16-18psi at redline. Altitude sucks.

By the way thanks to all of you guys Eric, Jeremy, Dave, and whomever I forgot for putting up with us novice dorks walking around and staring at you like zoo animals. As well as doing a Very nice job on the install on my car! Good work keep it up.

 

My car is a pos.. Although Al said the topend was one of the best he felt ina long time on stock turbo

 

On another note it was one of the most terrifying things. Sitting in the back seat of my own car doing full throttle pulls in 3rd and 4th to redline on hwy 36 in traffic!!!!!! Al the while al is looking at all of his equipment and dataloging the runs!!! Al is one fearless SOB!!!!

Either that or I am a pansy.
