I'm glad your car feels "almost" as fast as in DC. As u noticed, today was pretty warm over here at the Springs (73F) and my Evo felt sooooo sluggish!

Damn, dude, can you make up your mind??? You said you're coming, then said you couldn't, then said you could, then finally told me for sure this week that you couldn't. You're really screwing things up here. Why would you "try" to come only if no one buys your slot? Either you can come or you can't. You told me you can't, so you can't. If someone else purchases a slot, you can get your deposit back, but I've had enough of these back-and-forth games.

Yes, Sergio, you can move into that slot. I also don't believe the calculator unless it's specific for turbocharged cars, which behave completely different than N/A and S/C cars, but I will show proof when I hit MAC this week. I actually didn't drive today in the 70-degree weather, so I didn't feel the sluggishness, heh.

I used the NHRA calculator for turbo charged cars and it worked out to a .4 second difference so I think your estimates are close. It will be interesting to see what you run at Bandimere. I've raced at sea level in MD and IL and altitude at Bandimere. You'll be very surprised when you see some of the times run at Bandimere on all makes of cars versus sea level.

Like i said due to uncontrolable cicumstances i have had some trouble..
But i have gone through alot of trouble to try and ensure i make it..
So far my shop has gone against me but now at the last second they change their mind. You got to understand the military life.

Bottom line is, I paid a deposit for my slot. I will get my slot unless i get my money back.. You can not deny me my slot that i paid for.

 

Al would have laid you to the curb a long time ago. He has no patience for these matters. I also have not been a dick to you. I have TRIED MY BEST TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK, but you won't cooperate. If you would have just stopped messing around and let me get your slot filled, then you would ALREADY have your money back. But since you keep going back and forth changing the story on whether you're coming or not, I've had to keep your name in the slot and therefore no one thinks the slot is available, and therefore no one has tried to take that slot. Don't you realize that's how you will get your deposit back??? The way it is now, you're just screwing everyone over.

Lucas, you're truly unbelievable. I don't know how many times I have to explain this to you.

My current dynographs are from a Dynojet with uncorrected numbers.

I'm going to the only Dynojet in the state to get...guess what...uncorrected numbers AT ALTITUDE. The point is to show the exact difference in power with NO CORRECTION FACTOR. I will also take those numbers and apply regular SAE for temperature conversion. When I have these runfiles, I am able to put them into WinPep, which is a free viewer that all of us use, and do overlays to show exactly where I've lost power and how much. Peak numbers don't help me - I need to do overlays with my own files and with those of others. I have a folder full of Dynojet runfiles from myself and many others, which comes in very handy.

I couldn't care less what the actual numbers are, so I don't know why you keep bringing up your God's-gift-to-dyno Superflow. I am only going to MAC to get an altitude comparison. AFter the cams and retune, I will go BACK to MAC for A DIRECT COMPARISON TO SHOW GAINS. AFter that, then I have no reason to go back and don't plan on going back. I will only use the load-bearing DynoDynamics dyno here in Colorado Springs, which will be 3 blocks from where I work. I have no reason to drive up to Denver to use a Superflow.

Now, if this didn't make sense to you, I don't know what else I can say. It's obvious that you have a major chip on your shoulder about MAC and other dynos, but that has nothing to do with me. I have told you that absolute numbers mean nothing to me. I don't care if I get 200whp or 2000whp, the only thing that matters is how much different my numbers are from before, and then what my trap speed is at the track. Please get that through your thick skull. You already lost yourself a ton of business now and in the future by the way you've behaved - try not to dig a deeper hole than you already have.

 

Shawn, I just scheduled my appointment for 4pm on Friday afternoon. I will leave here around 3pm, take Hwy 83 to MAC, dyno for 30mins, then head to 9SR to await Al's arrival.
